Hi .. both sides of my parents' heritage were old timer Mirian. I'd visited the town on several occassion in the 70s and the 80s. My parents were estranged from their families, and thus I have no way of knowing them. I wonder if you knew any of the Sims' (Moh Heng) of River road, and the Bongs' of Sylvia Road. Any story or any comment (positive or negative) about them would be very much appreciated.
Hello! I was 6 when we moved back to Singapore. I do remember the Boon Pin family but have no recollection of those that you mentioned. I have retired and is trying to do my memoir. The next chapter will be posted when my research has been completed. Miri brought back a lot of memories.
